Idaho Springs is a cool old mining town that has been revived. Definitely check it out. Once you leave I-70 you’ll drive down a paved road before turning onto a dirt road to go to the top of a mountain. As you drive up the short dirt road through aspen and evergreens you will likely see an assortment of elk, deer, moose, fox, and birds before cresting the top of the mountain where you’ll see breathtaking views of the Rockies.
This property is on 8 acres so the nearest neighbors are through trees football fields away. To the northwest you’ll see the continental divide and to the south you’ll see Mt Evans.
You are within 20 minutes drive to Loveland Ski Area. 1 hour to Keystone.
For hiking, snowshoeing, split-boarding or touring definitely check out St Mary’s Glacier for winter or summer.
Maximum number of pets is 2.
Feces must be picked up . $250 charge for feces left around the house.
-No Parties or Events without prior approval from host.
-For every guest over the amount listed in the reservation, guests will be charged $100 per night.
-Host may remove guest from property for having an event or having more guests than listed on the booking. Host will not refund reservation.
-For late checkout, guests will be charged $50. After 1 hour late checkout guests will be charged an additional day.
